There has been plenty happening onsite at Ortus lately, and we are thrilled to share with you the latest construction news. Stage 1 has been progressing smoothly, with the excavations of roads and the application of lime stabilisation successfully completed.
Roads have been excavated to subgrade level and lime stabilisation has been applied in the Vizzini St & Cordyline areas. Meanwhile, roads in Alleveamento Way have been excavated and are currently being stabilised. Compacting roadway is currently underway in Nelson Street, while lime stabilisation is complete in Cordyline Street with compaction required to commence.
The delivery of pre-cast drainage pits is in progress. The sewer construction is also expected to start in early April, which will mark another milestone in the project’s development.
