The City of Casey Is Now Australia’s Third Fastest-Growing Region

As reported by Cranbourne News, new data from KPMG has shown that the City of Casey is the third fastest-growing region in the country coming in behind Blacktown NSW, and Wyndham VIC. The report showed that since 2019, Casey had an annual growth rate of 4.5 per cent, with over 29,000 new residents calling the region home.

The City of Casey in Melbourne has experienced tremendous growth over the past four years, becoming one of the fastest-growing areas in Victoria. This growth has been driven by a combination of factors, including increased immigration, a strong local economy, and improved infrastructure.

One of the most significant factors contributing to the growth of Casey has been immigration. The city has attracted many new residents from overseas, as well as from other parts of Australia. This has helped to increase the population and provide a boost to the local economy. The growth in the number of residents has also put pressure on the local infrastructure, leading to an increase in the construction of new homes, schools, and public spaces.

Another factor contributing to the growth of Casey has been the strong local economy. The city has a thriving business sector, with many companies and industries operating in the existing area.  In addition to the strong local economy, Casey has benefited from significant infrastructure investment over the past four years. This has included the construction of new roads and public transport links, which have improved connectivity to other parts of Melbourne and beyond. This has helped to make the area more accessible and convenient for residents and visitors alike. The local council has also made significant investments in public spaces, such as parks, playgrounds, and sporting facilities, which have helped enhance residents’ quality of life.

One of the most notable developments in Casey over the past four years has been the construction of the Casey Fields Sporting and Community Precinct. This facility includes a range of sporting fields, a community centre, and a cafe, and has become a popular destination for all.
