Spend an hour exploring the beauty and diversity of the trees in Cranbourne’s Australian Garden. Your guide will teach you all about the remarkable flora found here and the ways the trees have adapted to their environments, from ancient rainforests to deserts.
Nature Play Week

This Easter school holidays, head along to the Cranbourne Gardens with the kids for some free Nature Play! Taking inspiration from the Australian flora of the gardens, little ones will get to make their own nature mobile or wall hanging from foraged materials.

Birds in the Australian Garden

Whether you’re an avid twitcher, or just love to get out in nature, this behind the scenes tour will give you fascinating insight into the wonderful birds that call the Australian Garden home. See and hear them flying, feeding and nesting as you explore. Keep your eyes peeled and see if you can spot a Willie Wagtail or maybe a New Holland Honeyeater!
ClimateWatch Walk

Keen to learn more about climate change and make a difference in your local community at the same time? Take part in the ClimateWatch guided walk and monitor the biodiversity of the Cranbourne Gardens. Visitors will learn all about various plants and animals and how climate change is affecting their seasonal behaviour. The data you gather on your walk will then be recorded and help to shape Australia’s scientific response to climate change.
Forest Therapy

Immerse yourself in nature and restore your inner zen with a guided forest therapy session amongst the soothing native landscape of the gardens. Originating from Japan, this wellbeing experience will nurture your mental and physical health by helping to reduce stress levels and elevating your mood.
